From: First Coast News – JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A hazmat team with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department was called to cleanup a big mess after a septic tank truck collided head-on with car on the city’s northside Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The accident happened about 8 a.m. on Dunn Avenue near Interstate 295.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a black car was traveling west on Dunn Avenue when the driver reached down to get something, crossed the yellow lines and crashed into a OE Smith’s Sons septic tank clean-out truck traveling east.

There were no serious injuries reported, police said.

All lanes of Dunn Avenue between V.C. Johnson Road and I-295 were closed for several hours while the hazmat team contained the spillage.
