Two days after a 70-year-old-man was trapped and killed in a piece of construction equipment at Art’s Equipment Rental in Sharonville, an investigation by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration continued Thursday.

Manuel Estela Aquino, of West Chester Township, was a “long-term” employee at the business on Hauck Road, according to a news release from the Sharonville Police Department.

When reached by The Enquirer Thursday, a representative from Art’s Equipment Rental declined to comment.

The Ohio Area Offices of OSHA said that they were in the process of investigating the death.

“It’ll take a few weeks to get the report together since this was a fatality,” said Bill Wilkerson, Area Director for Cincinnati’s OSHA chapter. “We will be making sure that the reports are all consistent.”

The incident is being investigated as an accident by the Sharonville Police Department. Police from Sharonville said that an investigation would not be complete without the coroner’s report — due in about six to eight weeks.
