Threatening letter with powder opened at Boulder JCC

According to 9News out of BOULDER –

Boulder Fire is responding to a hazmat situation at the Boulder Jewish Community Center at 3800 Kalmia Avenue.

According to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, a letter containing a message that said “your (sic) have enemies,” and containing a white powder was opened on Monday. The JCC called the authorities.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they evacuated the building and quarantined the office, the people who were in contact with the envelope and the envelope.

The Health Department will help with the investigation.
